About Us

My father, Christopher Karangis, was in the food service business for over 30 years. He once moonlighted at Roma Pizza, which he has since purchased, renovated, and reimagined into the Luna Rossa we know today. This rustic Italian eatery—complete with exposed-brick walls and checkered red tablecloths—serves classic Old World dishes ranging from caprese salad and broccoli rabe to shrimp scampi and fettuccine Alfredo. Perhaps, its highlight, though, is its selection of specialty pizzas. Our Grandma’s Pie is my personal favorite, which we named after our Grandma Phyllis. Moving forward, I will personally make sure to preserve the menu and recipes that my late father has blessed us all with. – Nick Karangis
